Sudden Toe pain

I woke up this morning with a sudden pain in my right toe. I could not bend it without feeling pain. I can still walk, there is slight swelling on my toe as of now. I did not hit my toe anywhere, there was no injury. This is the first time it has happened and the pain is still there. What can i do to ease the pain?

Toe pain and swelling home remedies: try soaking in warm water, elevating the foot, applying ice or cold compress, using Epsom salt, essential oils (tea tree, peppermint), and turmeric, and resting the foot to reduce pain and inflammation.
