Sudden Tight foreskin, infection?

I’m 19 years old and haven’t had this issue before but in the last month my Foreskin has been much tighter, I’m still able to fully retract it but when erect it is abit painful to do so. Have I got an infection? Very hesitant to see doctor as I’m not comfortable with doing so
