Sudden pain
It was my 4th day of periods, on and off i always had mild pain during these days. But suddenly in the 4th day morning i had severe pain in lower abdomen. So i rushed myself in the emergency ward. They gave me Gastric and pain killer medication to which i got relaxed. Then the next moment i did the whole abdomen ultrasound to which it was found that my colon was loaded. Even now when i try doing loo with bit pressure the lower abdomen pains a bit.
Can someone please tell me if it is serious?
I have no other symptoms except pain since 1day
It is not at all serious report. Colon do have feces and it meant for that. Loaded colon may limit the ultrasound examination as deeper structures might not be seen. Loaded colon can be because of constipation which common in periods. Loaded can be because of many abnormalities. If pain recurrs or not subsided completely, you should visit your nearest gastroenterologist.
