Sudden heart rate drop during exercise

Hi I am a 28 year old mother with a 9 months old daughter. To reduce my weight I have started gymming. Pre pregnancy I was fairly athletic , could jog 5km each day. Recently I suddenly feel faint like during exercise rest. I started using a heart rate monitor. While my cardio heart rate goes to 154, during resting it sometimr drop to 40. I get so scared so I have stopped exercisit for now. My ekg showed no abnormalities just low heart rate 59bpm. Echo also showed no abnormalities. What could be the reason.
