Hi!
Striae gravidarum, stretch marks in pregnancy, occur in about 90% of all
pregnant women. They are primarily due to the rapid rate at which the skin is being stretched, combined with the influence of hormones. The itchiness is likely due to newly developed stretch marks during pregnancy and other weight fluctuations. Cocoa butter, Shea butter based cream will help moisturize and calm the skin to certain extent. If this doesn’t help and the itching is severe consult a dermatologist.
