Stress and anxiety can cause sleep problems.
Simple but very effective method to address this is to follow sleep hygeine:
Reduce the intake of coffee, tea ,caffeinated drinks in the evenings.
Avoid screen time (TV,mobile ,computer)before going to bed.
Cut down smoking after evening.
Get adequate physical exercise during the day.
Use your bed only to sleep.
If you have not slept within 10 mins of lying down, get up and do something else like reading etc.
If these things do not sort out your problem, you ll need evaluation to rule out mood or anxiety issues.
