Age 60 female. She is always feeling stomach pain and diaahera. If she had tablet she is fine.. 2days once she is suffering from the same problem. Doctor asked to take motion test. Why this test needed? Is this any serious.

Recurrent diarrhoea most likely is infection. Doctor suggested for that reason. Drink plenty of fluids electrol stay hydrated Prefer light food Take probiotics and gut related antibiotic Complete the full course. Avoid taking saag and salads raw.

She might have drug resistant diarrhoea or this may be due to intolerance to certain food products like milk, milk products or wheat products . Stool RE should be done to ascertain the cause - whether this is bacterial or amoebic diarrhoea or there are features of indigestion.
