Stitches after circumcision

My son is 1 year 3 months old. His circumcision was over 4 months before. Now one hole of stitch can be seen and two days before small sand like particle came out from the hole. Now also little whitish thing can be seen in the hole. Is it the stitch remains there? What needs to do?
