Sputum appearance
Hi doc, I had cough and cold a month back , and now i don't have any cough and cold , but still a light amount of sputum appears everyday , and i have lost by smell and taste .... can u suggest me anything related to this
I think u have allergic rhinitis..
Beacuse now season has changed and u didn't have fever.
May I know the amount and colour of sputum produce??

if sputum is yellowish or greenish u should do sputum examination for routine and culture sensitivity.
take 7 days course of augmentin 625mg TDS and tab azee 500mg OD for 5 days.
otherwise just take mucolytics and antiallergic like Mucolite syp and Montek-LC tab for 5 days.
