The gynae suggested to use a higher dose ( 50) to control the spotting . This is the second month on the new pill . Although the discharge has reduced but not completely gone. Few other refence for diagnosis -( pap smear was done in Jan and came as normal . Inflamed smear for which she took medication for 7 days) Can you please advise if this is normal or any further disgnosis is required. Thanks

Birth control pills need to be taken at the same time of the day....if irregularly taken, can lead to spotting.
