Spotting before and after period

I am having brown discharge a week before and a week after period and my period lasts for 7 days. I'm facing this since 2 months. I've been under stress for 3 months now. I also have taken vitamin C supplements for 15 days post which I have been facing this problem. I do not have any other symptoms. Could you please advice what this could be?

Check for endometrial polyps ultrasound scan and also check for cervical erosion by doing a pap smear test
