What is the general protocol for the Spinal TB treatment ? My doctor has advised me to take ethambutol for nine months. But due to its side effects can I withdraw this drug 15-20 days before. Will the withdraw of the drug cause any serious problem ?

Spinal TB needs prolonged treatment. Usually upto 18 months. If you are having side effects, better talk to your treating doctor, for dose modification or change of drug.
