MRI study of Lumbo-sacral spine reveals- *Mild to moderate focal postero-central protrusion of L4-L5 dosc is seen compressing anterior thecal sac, bilateral lateral recesses obliteration & mild bilateral neural foraminal stenoisis leading to compression over cauda equona. *Mild to moderate spinal cannal stenosis at L4-L5 level *AP diameter of the spinal canal at D12-L1=19.7mm. L1-L2=19.4mm. L2-L3=17.9mm. L3-L4=17.0mm. L4-L5=9.4mm. L5-S1=13.9mm.

Clinical status has to b evaluated in detail. If neuro defeciet present den operative management. If pain is a problem then pain management. In the former of analgesics , short course of steroid ( oral or iv ) , complete bed rest ( sos traction ) or epidural steroid injection.
