  4. Speech delayed. Could be the problem?

My niece is not communicating like normal kid. She has not formed a sentence also,but understands everything and repeats our words if she is in good mood. Also she is always in happy mood. Intelligence we can feel is more than normal but speech delay is our concern. What could be the problem? She is going to speech therapy
