Sound in ears while opening mouth

Greetings Doctor. Whenever I open my mouth, a cracking sound comes in my ear. I can feel its vibration in my ear everytime I open my jaw. What it is?

Hi good morning, Crackling sound in ear on opening and closing jaws can be sign of eustachian tube dysfunction. If jaw movement are painful, then there may be some problem on tempero-mandibulr joint. Hello Is your mouth opening and chewing painful ? Is the sense of vibration in the ear of  same side or bilateral? It may be an issue related to your temporomandibular joint.

You can start with restricted opening of the mouth while eating, yawning etc Take soft diet for few days

Avoid hard chewy food..chewing gums etc Practice relaxation..avoid jaw clenching
