Hello doctor, My husband has sore throat and continuous cough. I have been giving him ginger tea to soothe his troat. He keeps coughing and spitting mucus to clear his throat. Since there is alot of mucus I gave him coldact and for the sore throat reboflavine. Please help me.

He seems to be suffering viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat infection in this season. He may need to take antibiotics, cough syrups and steam inhalation for faster recovery
