Son suffering from congestion and fever
My son who is of 8 months is suffering from congestion for last 20 days in his chest ,most of the time when he coughing the cough used to come out but cant spit and dats the reason he is facing breathing as well normall sleep problem and also fever from last night as we have takem him outside yesterday due to which o suppose the hot cold effect has created in him .
please guide the solution,i am very much worried due to his congestion.please guide
If mild,give just steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
Use paracetamol for fever if required.
If accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing sounds in the breathing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,consult your paediatrician asap.
