Namaste Retinal damage does not happen if u are exposed to normal light , if it is solar retinopathy , it’s unlikely to recover

Solar retinopathy is mostly a permanent condition affecting the macula which is the main seeing area of the retina. A trial of nutritional supplements may be helpful in certain cases in reducing the severity but it is uncommon for the disease to be resolved completely.

Retina can get damage if you look directly into the sun. If you wear sunglasses you can also protect as well as prevent ocular surface damage and dryness. Recovery is very minimal in case of retina damage.

Only minor recovery is usually possible. Still can be told only after examination of retina
