I have a small lump on the edge or inner circle of my anus... initially i had a little pain, no bleeding at all, and felt a lot of heat built up at the edge of my anus... i consulted a doc & he said its a gland which could be pus formation. So was suggested a surgery. I have been taking the prescribed medicine with the hot water siting using betadine... the lump was a little bigger yesterday & was outside... but today it seems to have subsidised a little... i have read from portals that this could be there for weeks & disappear or the lump could break & either thickened blood or pus could spill off & self heal... so i honestly want to know if i have to get the surgery done to remove or try some home made remedy and see this through... money for surgery is also a concern as it varies... so i need an honest & appropriate advice cause there seems to be a few medical practitioners who want to make quick money. I believe in docs but we all have our apprehensions. apologies
