I underwent laparoscopic surgery for appendicitis 7 months ago and I started feeling pain in the same region with same kind of pain. On scanning, my impression says "Slightly enlarged right ovary with functional cyst". My Ultrasonogram reads slightly enlarged right ovary measuring 5.2 × 3.2 cms in size with slightly irregular cyst measuring 4.1 × 2.4 cms. Left ovary and other organs reads normal. No evidence of ultrasonically detectable mass lesion in right iliac fossa. What treatment is required to treat the cyst? Can it be treated through medicines? What kind of diet should I follow? Its been around 47 days since I got married. Period cycle- Dec 11-14 ; Jan 8-10 ; Feb 7 onwrds Will this cyst condition affect pregnancy in future in any ways? Should I be worried?
