Hi,
Working in shifts can create a disturbance in the regular life cycle and especially your biological clock. She will have to adjust her timings in a way where she would tire herself enough to sleep. For example, she could come back at 2 30am and probably catch up on some reading or cleaning up or any other relaxing activity. She can go for early morning walks at about 6am or go to the gym for an hour. This should get her tired easily. She should then sleep by 8am and wake up 3pm so that would give her sufficient sleep of 7hours at least!
Whenever her shift timings change she should adapt herself by resetting her routine. Hope this helps.
