Sleep Deprivation

Hey I've an important test in 3days ,I don't want to sound stupid but still.... ,I just wanted to know If I  reduce my sleep to 3-4 hours a day( from 7hrs initially) and increase my caffeine intake via coffee ,will my cognitive abilities still be affected ?

Your body and your mind needs some rest.. then only you will be able to do your cognitive activities properly.. reduced sleep is never advisable.. u can try caffeine etc for 1 day only.. then your body will want to compensate the following day.. u can reduce the sleep time from 7-6 hrs.. that too slowly over a period of time.. not like this
