Skin white patches and redness

Few weeks ago red patches appeared on my face, they werent itchy and went a way, I went to the gp and they said it was mild eczema and prescribed me steroid cream and dermol 500. Now i get often flare ups but theyre not itchy and its mostly white patches which makes me think it is a fungal infection which I had before several times. I dont know if i should carry on the eczema creams or apply anti fungal cream.
