Skin peeling problem

The skin between my fingers on my left hand have been peeling skin. It's been doing this for almost three days. It's kind of like after getting a sunburn. But every time I put lotion on it the peeling dry looking skin comes back and it has a raw feeling plus it's red. It's the web area between my fingers.
