Skin infection

I have been suffering from a skin infection on my right hand. Its been 4-5months since i have consulted 2-3 specialist but neither their suggestion nor their medicines could improve my situation. Hoping for you reasonable consultancy.

Thanks for the query. This presentation can be seen in many diseases and could be a presenting sign. A thorough history, clinical examination and appropriate laboratory tests will be needed to solve the mystery. It does not look an infection. Psoriasis and hand eczema are two possibilities and can be diagnosed with precision in consultation. You can use a salicylic acid based ointment with 1 % temporarily and a moisturizer for some relief
