I have been having blocked nose for the past 5 days with yellowish mucus, mild headache. The constant blowing of nose to get rid of the mucus caused me to have ear pain, which lasts a few hours. Facial pressure when i face down. I would like to find out should i take antibiotics or should i just take otc paracetamols and decogestants.

As per your description you might have developed rhinosinusitis.. need to take antibiotics and other supportive treatment.. consult with an ENT specialist for proper assessment..
