Hi,My sister suffers frm SCD.Are there chances that I might have the disease or the trait since it is a genetic disease.I have done a CBC but cant gather much info from in.Could there be an indication that I might be suffering from it?

Hello.... These are general blood examinations which give idea on hemoglobin , anemia . peripheral smear is test where doctor examine each blood cell with microscope ... You don't have sickel cell disease because by now it could have been manifested with various clinical symptoms ... Test for peripheral smear and consult general physician with report.
