Hello! I hope that you are getting the peels from a specialist only. Chemical peels are strong and not advisable to be done at home. After a 25 percent peel if you do not apply sunscreen and moisturiser then the skin would go absolutely dry ,may crack into fissures and will be uncomfortable. Moisturisers do not delay healing process but they may delay the peeling process a little ie the skin which is coming out may take some time to peel off.
