Using a condom during sexual activity provides significant protection against HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). However, no method is 100% foolproof. While the risk of HIV transmission during protected sex is low, it's not zero. If the condom was used correctly and didn't break or slip off during intercourse, the risk of HIV transmission is further reduced. However, if you have any concerns or doubts about the effectiveness of the condom or if you're experiencing anxiety about potential exposure, getting tested for HIV can offer peace of mind.

Hello, Regarding your inquiry about HIV, if you are certain that there were no tears in your skin, no exposed wounds, and you consistently and correctly used a condom during the encounter, then you can rest assured that there is no cause for concern. However, as a precautionary measure, I recommend that you seek post-exposure prophylaxis at the nearest hospital. This will provide you with additional peace of mind and ensure your well-being.
