Permethrin 1% lotion/shampoo is usually first choice in this age.
• Apply on washed towel-dried hair and scalp.
• Leave for about 10 minutes, then rinse.
• Use a fine lice comb to remove dead lice and nits.
• Repeat after 7–9 days because eggs may hatch again.
Health Tips
Treat close family members if they also have itching or lice.
• Wash pillow covers, caps, bedsheets, towels in hot water.
• Avoid sharing combs/hair accessories.
• Daily nit combing improves success a lot.
