Severe pain in foot

Severe pain in foot which is now moving upwards upto knees.. MR finding are suggestive of diffused bone marrow oedema periosteal reaction and soft tissue oedema in the third metatarsal - likely osteomyelitis . However differential diagnosis of a stress fracture also merits consideration .. Please correlate close clinically..
