2 questions : 1. My mother aged 83, has an advanced stage the above condition. Doctors have advised an injection called Terifrac for a period of 6 months self injectable daily. How effective is it ? 2. Also knee replacement surgery is also needed and advised as one leg movement is highly constricted. Is it advisable at this age? She has marginal high BP and sugar

Yes it can be safely done , Remember if not get it done , patient still not mobilised and without mobility the condition of osteoporosis will definitely worsen So get replacement done
