Severe colic pain after cold medication

My 4month old baby suffering from cough n cold. My pediatrician prescribed maxtra drops and ascoril drops(8drops thrice daily) with saline nasal drop. After two days of administration of these drugs my little one has started writhering in pain during sleep and when I pick her up she burps. Her fart has increased and she is now crying inconsolable at day and night. It took me two days to realise that she is not crying like that before just because of blocked nose or coughing or irritability but because of severe pain in abdomen. Her urine and stools are normal and she has gained weight but from past two days we are going through hell so can't figure out in correct state of mind what is going on with this little bub. Is it because of maxtra and ascoril drops or is it something else. Any suggestions will be a great help. Thanks in advance

Maxtra is for cold and the dose you might be giving is not enough and cold is also  equally common to cause irritability to the child. Also, if it is cold than do use saline drops atleast once in 4 to 6 hours to keep the nose open. If it is due to colic, than give colicaid drops 5 drops sos.
