Sensation in tooth

I have done filling in tooth & after that sensation occur in my tooth before that there is no sensation .now, doctor said me for rct.should i do the rct or consult any other doctor

An X-ray if the tooth should be done. Sensation could be due to a high point in your filling. If there is nerve involvement and severe pain to hot and cold then an RCT may be considered
