See antibiotics can cause oto toxicity i.e ear getting affected , plz consult me give ur signs and symptoms and get appropriate antibiotics , I have a fellowship in infectious diseases

Most probably your doctor have changed your medicine only because of the developed resistance to some salts of the medicine and not because the new one is stronger
