Seemingly unremovable black spots

I had a skin disease a while back, might be a reaction to something, I'm not certain, but with little medical application here and there, it's gone, however, it left residues of black spot all over my body and they seem not to be able to clear by themselves, could you recommend something I could apply to clear the spots?
