Scratchy throat, upper abdominal issues

2026-05-18 09:58:18
- When I wake up, my throat is dry/scratchy and it is difficult to swallow. Bit better after water - Been waking up once or twice in the middle of the night to scratchy throat and need water - Going on for 10 days. Initially also felt a lump in the throat, but gone after 3 days. - In the morning, one nasal passage is blocked, feels full of thickened booger/phlegm, can only be retrieved via mouth. - Voice was also hoarse for a few days. Slightly better now, but still cannot make   high pitched sounds. - Not sure if related, I've also been feeling discomfort in upper abdomen   area around the center. Area around one thumb length below breastbone.   It's a pulling/heaviness kind of sensation, but yesterday it was burning for   some periods too. - some tenderness when i press the area. - General bloated tummy feeling after eating. Upper ab discomfort after 30-40 mins. Bit better when i lay down. - This upper ab feeling has come and gone over the past year but never burning like yesterdy

No need to worry  these symptoms are common and manageable 👍 Scratchy throat with hoarseness and morning dryness often comes from post nasal drip or mild reflux, while the upper abdominal pulling burning is likely acidity or gas related. Book a quick consultation with me now I’ll give you a clear plan for fast relief in both areas. 😊
