My wife is suffering from schizophrenia since Dec 13. She was taking resperidone pacitane till July 16. She discontinued the medicine for 2 months. Again she got symptoms in month of October. Now she is on medicine. She is taking paliperidone injection in a month. She is fine now. Doctor told that medicine will be long time. My wife want to get pregnant with medicine. Please suggest sir. Can she get pregnant without any trouble.. Please help me out sir. Thank you

In 2nd episode 3-5yrs course can be given and then again Medicines can be tapered. Pregnancy is not a issue if she is in remission with Paliperidone.
