Men can use shatavari. But my opinion is that for appropriate ayurvedic treatment it is necessary to know your Prakrati and Doshas. Because, if ayurvedic medicines are given according to your Prakrati and Doshas then they definitely prove effective. Consult the ayurvedic physician.
