Safe to formula feed?
Hi, my daughter has just turned 5 months old.
She is rejecting breast feed. Prefers Nan Excellapro. Also my milk supply was not great hence from day one she was on formula not exclusively though. But from last 15 days she only prefers to drink milk from bottle. I try to pump but milk quantity is very low only 120ml which will suffice only for one time feeding. If I try to pump again after 4-6hrs no milk at all.
Can you suggest medicine to increase milk supply.

The basic problem here’s nipple confusion and hasty introduction of top milk that to by bottle.
When baby is given bottle he need nothing to do just drink where as at breast he has to latch suck and maintain pressure this makes him uncomfortable.
Henceforth slowly he stop putting effort on sucking.
At breast sucking causes reflex release of milk this is lost hence milk production decreases.

When hungry first put on breast later feed him top milk with container and spoon
Health Tips
Give more milk at night so that milk considerably increase in quality and quantity. Still not enough take consultation with paediatric or Gynaec doctor.
