First dose on 6th week, " rotasure " has given by the dr but now due to corona we went to nearby hospital and he injected second dose of rotavirus vaccine " rotasil ".. Is there any problem with the change of vaccine to the baby? Is it neccessary to given all the 3 doses of same brand?

Rotasiil nust be an oral vaccine while Rotasure is injectable. Continue the rest of the rotavirus vaccination as the oral  Rotasiil .

Dear parents, No need to panic. Ideally the rotavirus vaccine series should be completed with the same product. There will be no problem, if change in brand product. Please complete the 3 doses rotavaccine schedule.
