My baby born premature Doc has suggested rop test at 4 week... Please tell me how long does it take to screen for rop.. Duration test and is it painful for baby? Thanks In advance

Its not painful for the baby. Drops are to be installed in your baby' s eye 3o min prior to the test and after that rop evaluation will take 10 to 15 min

It will take about 45 minutes to 1 hr. Eye drops are put 2-3 times at 15 minute intervals. Then the eyes are examined. It is not painful.

Not Painful. Drops have to be put in to the eyes. Pl consult paediatric ophthalmologist. It will take 20 to 30 minutes.

It's not painful require dilatation of pupil to examine retina.. approximately whole procedure take 1hr..it's necessary to get premature babies screen for ROP .
