Well yes it's quite possible that if your exposed to someone who had history of multiple partners you are at risk of acquiring infection...I would suggest you to get yourself tested if you are symptomatic for now..Or else need not worry as such...Make sure that you use adequate contraceptives like condoms to prevent yourself from pregnancy as well as infection..Thank you
