By mistake I took one nitrofuranton antibiotic tablet and it is causing ringing in my ears for 24hours Previously i have taken that tablet for UTI but it didn't cause any side effects earlier. Please help

It is temporary and will go after stopping nitrofurantoin. If troublesome, take tab cinnarizine 25mg every 8 hours for 5 days.

It's not at all due to nitrofurentoin. U need an ent.

It may be a coincidence as nitrofurantoin does not cause a ringing sensation in ears. Or it may be due to cause unrelated to nitrofurantoin.

Ringing in ears is not a known side effect of Nitrofurantoin. It might be totally unrelated to the antibiotic that you've taken. Hydrate yourself properly.
