Right Side Pain

2016-06-05 13:27:46
I am suffering from pain in right upper half part of abdomen and back, also sometimes in lower right half. Its since 9 months but i thought this is due to my TB and will go away after medication. But its still there. Pain is not high but is uncomfortable most of the times. Pain increases after eating heavy diet along with increased uncomfotability. 7 months ago i have been tested by ultrasound but everything was ok. what should I do now ?

Hi there I understand your concern...biliary causes of right upper quadrant pain include cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and cholangitis; colonic causes are colitis or diverticulitis; and hepatic causes are abscess, hepatitis, or mass. Pulmonary causes are pneumonia or embolus, and renal causes are nephrolithiasis or pyelonephritis...since pain is related to food intake it may be due to gastric ulcers... Consult nearest gastroenterologist for endoscopic examination they will do the needful.
