Right Inner cheeks reddishness patch

My aunt has redness and thickening in inner right side of buccal mucosa for almost 3 months. She doesn't have any bad habits. In right side, she had 3 right upper back tooth with metal ceramic crown. Also below 2 right lower tooth also had mettalic crown and one amalgam filling at last bottom. Now dentist completely removed the crown and fillings some 3 weeks back. After that,  irritation reduced and no ulcer. But the redness varies (one day looks bright and one day less red). It looks less reddish few days and some days, again dark reddish. Size remains same. Please find the recent photo attached (right inner cheeks). Can you please suggest if its something dangerous as its almost 3 months. Im really worried as what to do?

If redness and thickening inside the cheek has been present for almost 3 months, it should be properly checked. Since irritation reduced after removal of metal crowns and fillings, it may have been due to local irritation or reaction. However, because it is still present and changing in color, it needs evaluation. Any oral lesion that lasts more than 2–3 weeks should be examined by a dentist or oral medicine specialist. In some cases, further tests may be required to confirm the diagnosis. There is no need to panic, but do not ignore it. Please consult a specialist for proper examination.
