Hello. Have you had any trauma? If not, is the onset of pain insidious and spontaneous. Does your job involve a lot of being on your feet/walking? Is the pain on the back & inner aspect of heel (press there with finger and check)? If so, you may be having plantar fasciitis, which is inflammation of fascia (tissue) in the foot. If you have a slight flatfoot, you can be more prone to it as well. Try to soak feet in warm water at night and stretch your feet with hand (plantar stretching exercises- google it & follow). Take anti-inflammatories for a week (with food to avoid gastric side effects, don't take if you have stomach ulcer/asthma). Wear good quality footwear usually with arch support if you have slight flatfoot (orthoheel- can buy from Amazon- usually about 1000INR). This should help but will take few months.
