Hello,
My friend got fractured in right hand thumb which is distal phalange of type. He's working in textile industry as a worker where he got his right hand in gaint running fan. This took place on 24th june around 7:30 PM. He got his stitches then but yesterday he X-ray and now diagnosed a distal phalange fracture.
Now, I'm attaching his X-rays images and want to ask that do he need to do his thumb surgery where we seek for plates & screws in the process of internal fixation or external fixation. Or it can just can heel by casting or plastering.
Please do help asap.
Thank you.
