Dear Sir / Madam Since 1-2 days i am feeling itchy eye.  Today I feel it is painful and I have a small boil kind of puss formed sore.   Photos attacked. Plz help to reduce pain Thank u all

It is due to infection. Pl have warm compresses.May also require antibiotic eye drops. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.

A red, painful swelling near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple is a characteristic feature of stye. It develops from small glands of eyelid. It is self resolving within few days. The most effective treatment is dry hot fomentation. Warm comress or  warm washcloth applied to the eyelid may relieve pain and discomfort. You can take any anti-inflammatory tablet after meals. Avoid rubbing maintain hygeine.
