Rh factor test for 6 weeks pregnant

My wife is 7 weeks , 5 days pregnant now through IVF.  When she was 6 weeks Pregnant, they have collected her blood and urine samples, but in the report only urine test result is given and blood test only haemoglobin value is given. I have heard that RH factor test also should be done at 6 weeks pregnancy. When I asked the hospital, they are saying it is not needed. Please advise when we should do RH factor test and whether any other blood test is required to be done
